INGREDIENTS
- whole Chicken
- Carrots
- Pepper and salt
- Potatoes
- Herbs of your choice (parsley sage and rosemary are recommended)
- onions
METHOD
- Pre-heat the oven to gas mark three.
- Put your pot on the high Burner and oil generously.
- Chop and peel the onions and place them in the pot.
- Keep moving the onions while they soften.
- Peel the potatoes and carrots while you wait.
- When there is a patch of brown onion at the bottom of the pan, you can put the chicken in.
- Put boiling water into the pot and slow it to go inside the chicken.
- Put the pepper on the chicken and the salt mainly in the water. You can put the herbs in and the potatoes and carrots.
- Give it some time to warm up inside the pot. You can put the lid on.
- Cook for two hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
