
Like the look of these awesome doughnuts? Then read on. The simple recipe tastes better than any.
INGREDIENTS
- 250g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 70g cold butter (if you are using salted then you don’t need the salt)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 170ml milk
- Sugar, cinnamon, jam (for toppings)
METHOD
- Crumble the ingredients until they form a breadcrumb like feel.
- Slowly add the milk until it forms a dough. You may not need it all.
- Roll it into about 1cm.
- Easy. Make doughnut shapes. You can do this by using to cutters of different sizes.
- Heat your oil (olive or other) at a medium heat.
- Add the doughnuts to the oil and fry until browns. Remember to flip every now and then.
- Dip them in jam or sugar/cinmmon sugar.
- Enjoy!
